Honda is riding into the red. Toyota is expected to post an operating loss for the year. They have even indefinitely put a hold plans for completing a new plant that was to build the much hearalded Prius. You know, the car that has been mentioned constantly by Congressmen touting how the Big 3 is “out of touch” with consumers.

This is of course just more proof that this meltdown is far more of a problem for all automakers than those who want to bust the UAW are willing to admit.
