I wrote about Prop 8 and the hatred and discrimination on my personal blog back before the election. And while I covered some of the same items in this video, Keith Olbermann really covers it just perfectly.

It has nothing to do with politics, it doesn’t matter whether you are a Democrat or a Republican, it doesn’t matter whether you love or hate Keith Olbermann, it is not (despite what some like to say) about religion or anything other than just supporting what is right. Far too many people forget how not long ago how many other things were done to “protect the sanctity of marriage” and how while it is quite barbaric to think about today, this is what was accepted as right. It is time to grow, to move on and to give up fighting against love.
